I have been installing your 65 Slant Back Vent® for exhaust ventilation on all of my shingled roof systems. These vents are pliable and strong enough to take the place of the metal and other plastic vents that I had been using. I have never had a warranty issue or a call back that was relating to your vents. Compared to the slightly smaller slant-back vents that I had been using, I make fewer penetrations do to the amount of NFVA exhaust your vents provide. I’m always looking for quality products with competitive pricing for my customers roof systems and your vent is one I found that meets the criteria.

After receiving a late phone call from our largest builder, I felt compelled to find out what problems existed after a major storm in Lantana Texas. The builder was concerned that the “plastic vents” we sold him were not holding up in the storms as he would have expected. The picture he sent us was not a Ross® Vent but a competitive product. Upon entering the subdivision most of the older homes had already covered their vents with trash bags to prevent water infiltration. Those homes that the vents were not covered had many vents destroyed by this storm. But the Ross® vent was perfect. A few slight scuffs and that is all we saw. I was able to pick up two vents off a home that was being re-roofed and will make them available to the folks at Ross® to see how their products performed. With the new Class IV- 2218 rating on this vent it must become the static vent of choice!

We have been using the Ross® 150 Roof Vent and Ross® 65 Slant Back Vent since they were first introduced into the market. Not only are Ross®‘ products priced more competitively but they also out perform other products. The Ross® products provide more NFVA (air flow) than their competitors and we never have issues of damaged product arriving at our job sites. This used to be a constant problem with the metal vents being dented. Our builders are happy with the lower profile, clean appearance of the vents and the added air flow. We highly recommend the Ross® Vents!

Corporate Roofing, Inc. started using the Ross® 150 Roof vent around August of 2007 and has installed more than 1,000 vents to date. We are happy with the quality and ease of installation. The vents are in one piece which means less problems such as rivet leaks and missing parts. They also have a larger base, making installation smooth and much simpler. The lower profile lid helps tremendously to keep water from intruding with our sideways blowing rains in Texas. The good quality has been consistent and we are very happy with the overall appearance also.
